Follow the Strange linage
US CIVIL WAR:
Charles M. Strange (also listed in the Census as Charles Strange Jr), fifth generation of the Strange Family in
America had three sons that enlisted in the War of the Rebellion; James, John, and Issac. Issac
died in battle, James was taken POW in December of 1862 and given his freedom in August of 1863 in a Prisoner Trade.
James and John mustered out together.
There are several mysteries that have not been solved about the family, that is the purpose of this website..... to gain
full knowledge of the Strange Family and to correspond with other researchers.
